Muddy Boots Walking Club meets on a Wednesday after school. We walk in the areas around Carlisle, including the hills of North Cumbria, the Pennines and the Eden Valley. Each walk includes time for a picnic tea and a game or two. Good fun!
Children in Year 4 have first call on places, with Year 5 and 6 filling in the spaces.
The children need to wear layers and to bring a packed tea; they need a hat and gloves no matter what the weather. They will also need a waterproof jacket as we walk whatever the weather. The school loans out some essentials such as boots and rucksacks. For any more information, please see Mrs Wilson in Year 5
....And we are off! First walk to Roughton Ghyll. Great fun.
